REGAL TOOLS & BROACHES
The short shank RD & RDI style of pullers is designed for vertical type broaching machines. This style was used in our machines for decades. A lot of our older style machines use this style of puller. You know you need this style if the pull lug in your machine has a 2"-8 tap and not a 2" through hole.
The precision long shank RDP & RDPI style of pullers are our current model for vertical type broaching machines. This style provides improved perpendicularity and concentricity of the broach centerline. You know you need this style if the pull lug in your machine has a 2" through hole.
The precision long shank RPS & RPIS style retrievers are current models for vertical type broaching machines. This style provides improved perpendicularity and concentricity of the broach centerline. You know you need this style if the retriever lug in your machine has a 2" through hole and no taps for mounting bolt
The detent style retrievers are current models for vertical type broaching machines. This style provides simple and flexible retrieval of small to medium size tools. This style of retriever is limited in the weight of broach it can lift. We can provide guidance on the proper configuration of the retriever for a particular broach tool weight. You know you need this style if the retriever lug in your machine has a 2" pilot diameter and taps for mounting bol
The automatic R & RI style retrievers are current models for horizontal type broaching machines. This model of retriever is compatible with a 2"-8 internal mounting thread in a horizontal broaching machine.
Designed primarily for keyway broaches or broaches using rectangular shanks, this pull head can be manually or automatically operated. Proper pulling alignment is assured as the head holds the broach in position against the flat surfaces and provides a positive broach locking action. This keyway broach pull head comes in 2 sizes.
This style puller allows for automatic engagement and disengagement of a keyway pull broach that has a threaded pull end. This style is a Legacy model quoted and manufactured as needed.
This style puller allows manual insertion and removal of keyway broach cutting tools with threaded pull ends. Keyway broaching setups with a guiding work-horn/fixture don't need the keyway broach removed each cycle of the broaching machine. In these setups, the part is threaded over the keyway broach and onto the work-horn support. This style is a Legacy model quoted and manufactured as needed
This style of puller uses an oblong key as the locking mechanism between the broach pull end and the puller. The broach tool can be manually engaged and disengaged by inserting and removing the key. This puller is used with broach tools that have an elongated slot milled in the pull end. This style is a Legacy model, quoted and manufactured as needed.
( PH-1918 model obsolete )
This style of puller uses a cross-pin mating with radial notch on the pull end of the broach to create a coupling. The puller is designed for automatic engagement and disengagement of the broach tool. This style is a Legacy model, quoted and manufactured as needed.
